As a young carer Emily struggles to find time for herself while caring for her ailing grandmother and her school commitments. Further pressure is added, when she is asked to help physically challenged new pupil Matthew to adapt to the school.
With her friends already bullying Matthew Emily shows little empathy, until things take a turn for the worst.The film was commissioned to be part of an educational pack for primary schools designed with the intent on raising awareness of disability hate crimes and bullying.Introducing the young talents of Eve Wengel, Connor McKinley, David Byrne, Scot Greenan and Caitlin McDonald.
